Water pump
The easiest way to get water from a furrow or river is to install a diesel driven pump. Unfortunately, this is expensive and not environmentally friendly. Years ago a ram pump (not using fuel or electricity) was installed to supply water to the main house and garden. Over the years the demand for water supply has increased and a home built water pump was installed. This pump supplies water to the houses, stables and water features.
We have since built 6 models of ram pumps, all from scrap and co-operative parts and all except the first, deliver higher and more then the commercial counterparts and cost a fraction thereof
